| Description | The ADXL375BCCZ is a high-performance 3-axis digital MEMS accelerometer manufactured by Analog Devices (ADI). Designed for high-impact and high-acceleration measurement applications, it provides accurate digital acceleration data along the X, Y and Z axes with a full-scale measurement range of ±200g. The ADXL375 features a typical sensitivity of 20.5 LSB/g, enabling the measurement of rapid acceleration changes, mechanical shocks and impact events. Unlike conventional low-g accelerometers, its high measurement range makes it particularly suitable for applications where large acceleration forces must be monitored. The device supports programmable output data rates from 0.1Hz to 3200Hz and adjustable bandwidth up to 1600Hz. An integrated 32-level FIFO buffer helps reduce host processor communication and supports efficient acquisition of acceleration measurements. Additional features include activity and inactivity detection, programmable interrupts and an integrated temperature sensor. These functions enable event-driven measurement and simplify integration into embedded monitoring systems. For digital communication, the ADXL375BCCZ supports I2C and 3-wire or 4-wire SPI interfaces, providing flexible connectivity with microcontrollers, processors and data acquisition equipment. The accelerometer operates from a 2.0V to 3.6V supply voltage and has an operating current of approximately 145µA. Its compact design supports applications requiring low power consumption and high acceleration measurement capability. The ADXL375BCCZ is supplied in a 14-terminal LGA surface-mount package measuring 5 × 3mm, with manufacturer package designation CC-14-1. It supports an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and is RoHS compliant. Typical applications include automotive crash testing, impact measurement, industrial shock monitoring, mechanical vibration analysis, equipment condition monitoring, drop testing, sports impact sensing and embedded shock data logging systems.
