| Description | The MPU-9250 is a 9-axis motion tracking sensor that integrates a 3-axis gyroscope, 3-axis accelerometer, and 3-axis magnetometer in a single compact package. It operates with a supply voltage range of 2.4 V to 3.6 V and supports communication via I²C or SPI interfaces. The device includes a built-in Digital Motion Processor (DMP) for offloading sensor fusion and motion processing tasks from the host microcontroller. It offers selectable full-scale ranges for the gyroscope (±250, ±500, ±1000, ±2000 °/s) and accelerometer (±2g, ±4g, ±8g, ±16g), along with an integrated AK8963 magnetometer for heading detection. The MPU-9250 also features an internal temperature sensor, programmable digital filters, and interrupt capabilities. It is widely used in drones, robotics, navigation systems, wearable devices, VR/AR systems, and embedded applications requiring precise 9-axis motion tracking. |
