| Description | The TDC7200PWR is a high-precision Time‑to‑Digital Converter (TDC) designed for accurate Time‑of‑Flight (ToF) measurements in ultrasonic, magnetostrictive, LIDAR, flow meter, and related applications. Packaged in a 14‑pin TSSOP (PW) with PowerPAD, it operates from a 2.0–3.6 V supply and covers an extended temperature range of –40 °C to +85 °C. Featuring a time resolution of 55 ps and a standard deviation of just 35 ps, it supports two measurement ranges—Mode 1 for 12 ns–500 ns and Mode 2 for 250 ns–8 ms—to handle both short and long ToF events reliably. The device supports up to five STOP signals, allowing flexibility in selecting the best echo for more accurate readings. It includes an autonomous multi-cycle averaging mode and ultra-low power consumption—only 0.5 µA at 2 samples/sec—ideal for battery-operated systems.
