| Description | The LM2576SX-ADJ/NOPB is a high-efficiency 3 A step-down (buck) switching voltage regulator from Texas Instruments’ SIMPLE SWITCHER® series. It is designed to convert higher input voltages into a regulated adjustable output using a minimal number of external components. The device supports an input voltage range from approximately 4 V to 40 V and provides an adjustable output voltage from 1.23 V up to about 37 V depending on the external resistor network. It can deliver up to 3 A output current and operates with an internal fixed switching frequency around 52 kHz, simplifying inductor and component selection. The regulator integrates internal oscillator, frequency compensation, and protection circuits including current limiting and thermal shutdown to improve system reliability. Packaged in a TO-263 (D2PAK) surface-mount package, the LM2576SX-ADJ/NOPB is widely used in embedded systems, industrial electronics, telecom equipment, and DC-DC power supply designs requiring efficient voltage regulation. |
