| Description | The MPU-6050 is a 6-axis motion tracking sensor that combines a 3-axis gyroscope and a 3-axis accelerometer in a single chip. It operates with a supply voltage range of 2.3 V to 3.4 V and communicates via an I²C interface. The device features a built-in Digital Motion Processor (DMP) that offloads complex motion processing tasks from the host microcontroller. It provides selectable full-scale ranges for the gyroscope (±250, ±500, ±1000, ±2000 °/s) and accelerometer (±2g, ±4g, ±8g, ±16g). The MPU-6050 includes an internal temperature sensor, programmable digital filters, and interrupt capabilities. It is widely used in robotics, drones, gaming controllers, motion tracking systems, stabilization platforms, and embedded applications requiring precise motion sensing. |
