| Description | The WS2812B-V6 is an upgraded intelligent RGB LED that integrates a control IC and RGB LED chip into a single 5050 SMD package. It operates with a supply voltage range of approximately 3.3 V to 5.3 V and uses a single-wire serial communication protocol, allowing multiple LEDs to be cascaded and individually controlled.
The device features built-in signal amplification, reset circuitry, and constant current driving, ensuring stable color output and consistent brightness across LED chains. It supports data transmission speeds up to 800 Kbps and allows long cascaded chains with reliable signal regeneration. The V6 version represents an improved generation with better signal compatibility (including reliable 3.3 V logic control at 5 V supply), enhanced stability, and unified naming across package variants. With 24-bit color depth (8 bits per channel), low power standby, and high refresh rate, the WS2812B-V6 is widely used in LED strips, display panels, decorative lighting, gaming setups, wearables, and embedded systems requiring individually addressable RGB lighting. |
