| Description | The PESD24VV1BAX is a compact and high-reliability bidirectional TVS (transient voltage suppressor) diode developed by Nexperia, designed to protect sensitive electronic circuits against electrostatic discharge (ESD) and transient voltage spikes. It provides a reverse stand-off voltage of 24V, making it suitable for protecting low-speed data lines and power interfaces. The device features a low clamping voltage (approximately 33V–42V) and can handle peak pulse currents up to 3.5A, ensuring effective suppression of voltage surges and fast transient events. With a bidirectional single-channel configuration, the PESD24VV1BAX provides symmetrical protection for signals that swing in both directions, making it ideal for communication lines and interface protection. The device offers very low capacitance (~14pF), minimizing signal distortion and allowing use in high-speed or sensitive signal paths. It also provides robust ESD protection up to 30kV (IEC 61000-4-2), ensuring reliability in harsh environments. Designed for demanding conditions, it operates over a wide temperature range of -55°C to +150°C and is AEC-Q101 qualified, making it suitable for automotive and industrial applications.
