| Description | The FM24V10-GTR is a high-reliability 1Mbit non-volatile ferroelectric RAM (F-RAM) developed by Infineon Technologies, designed to deliver fast and durable data storage for embedded and industrial applications. It features a memory organization of 128K × 8 bits, providing efficient storage for frequently updated data. This device utilizes advanced ferroelectric memory technology, allowing read and write operations to occur at full bus speed with no write delay, significantly improving system performance compared to traditional EEPROM solutions. It supports up to 10¹⁴ read/write cycles, offering extremely high endurance for intensive data logging applications. The FM24V10-GTR operates over a wide supply voltage range of 2.0V to 3.6V and communicates via a standard I2C interface with clock frequencies up to 3.4MHz, enabling easy integration with microcontrollers and digital systems. Designed for long-term reliability, the memory provides exceptional data retention of up to 151 years and eliminates the need for complex write management or wear leveling typically required in EEPROM-based designs. The device features low power consumption, with typical active current around 175µA and ultra-low standby and sleep currents, making it suitable for battery-powered applications. It also includes device ID and optional unique serial number for system identification and tracking. Encapsulated in a compact 8-pin SOIC surface-mount package, the FM24V10-GTR is optimized for space-constrained PCB designs while maintaining robust electrical performance.
