| Description | The NRF24L01 module is a low-power 2.4 GHz ISM band RF transceiver module designed for short-range wireless communication. It operates in the 2.4–2.4835 GHz frequency range and supports data rates of 250 kbps, 1 Mbps, and 2 Mbps using GFSK modulation. The module works with a supply voltage of 1.9 V to 3.6 V (typically 3.3 V), with transmit current around 11–13 mA and receive current around 13 mA. It provides programmable output power up to 0 dBm and receiver sensitivity down to approximately -94 dBm, enabling communication distances up to ~100 meters in open space depending on configuration. Mechanically, the module integrates the RF IC, 16 MHz crystal oscillator, matching network, and PCB antenna on a compact board (~15 × 29 mm). It features a standard 8-pin interface (VCC, GND, CE, CSN, SCK, MOSI, MISO, IRQ) and communicates via SPI up to 8–10 Mbps. The module supports operation from -40°C to +85°C and is optimized for easy integration without RF design requirements, making it suitable for IoT devices, wireless sensors, remote controls, and embedded systems. |
