| Description | The ACS712ELCTR-05B-T is a Hall-effect based current sensor designed for precise AC and DC current measurement up to ±5 A. It operates with a 5 V supply voltage and provides a ratiometric analog voltage output proportional to the sensed current. The device offers a high sensitivity of approximately 185 mV/A and supports a bandwidth up to 80 kHz, enabling fast response (around 5 µs) for dynamic current monitoring. It features an integrated low-resistance conductor (~1.2 mΩ) and provides electrical isolation between the current path and signal pins, eliminating the need for external isolation components. The sensor operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and delivers high accuracy (typically ±1.5%) with low noise characteristics. The ACS712ELCTR-05B-T is widely used in power monitoring, motor control, overcurrent protection, battery management, and industrial or consumer electronics where compact, isolated current sensing is required. |
