| Description | The DRV8825PWP is a bipolar stepper motor driver with integrated current control and microstepping capability. It operates with a motor supply voltage range of 8.2 V to 45 V and a logic supply of 2.5 V to 5.25 V. The device supports multiple stepping modes including full-step, half-step, quarter-step, eighth-step, sixteenth-step, and up to 1/32 microstepping, enabling smooth and precise motor motion. It provides adjustable current limiting through external sense resistors and can deliver up to approximately 2.5 A peak current per coil with proper cooling. The DRV8825 includes protection features such as overcurrent protection, thermal shutdown, undervoltage lockout, and fault indication. It is widely used in 3D printers, CNC machines, robotics, and industrial automation systems requiring efficient and precise stepper motor control. |
