| Description | The IR2109PBF is a high-voltage, high-speed half-bridge gate driver IC designed for driving N-channel MOSFETs and IGBTs in power conversion applications. It supports a high-side floating channel up to 600V and operates with a gate drive supply voltage range of 10V to 20V . The device provides dual output drivers with peak source/sink currents up to approximately 200 mA / 350 mA, enabling efficient switching performance . It features built-in undervoltage lockout (UVLO) for both high-side and low-side channels, internal dead-time of about 540 ns, and cross-conduction prevention logic for safe operation . The IC offers fast switching characteristics with propagation delays around 750 ns turn-on and 200 ns turn-off, along with rise/fall times of approximately 220 ns / 80 ns . It is compatible with CMOS and TTL logic inputs (down to 3.3V) and includes high dV/dt immunity for robust operation in noisy environments . Operating temperature range is -40°C to +125°C, and the DIP-8 package enables easy integration in power supplies, motor drives, inverters, and industrial switching applications. |
