| Description | The MAX4684EUB+ is a compact and high-performance dual SPDT analog switch from Analog Devices / Maxim Integrated, designed for low-voltage signal routing in portable, industrial, and mixed-signal electronic systems. Its low-resistance switching structure makes it well suited for applications where signal integrity, low power operation, and fast switching response are critical. This device operates from a single +1.8V to +5.5V supply, providing broad compatibility with modern low-voltage logic and analog circuits. The MAX4684 variant offers very low on-resistance, with approximately 0.5Ω (max) for the NC path and 0.8Ω (max) for the NO path at a +2.7V supply, helping reduce insertion loss and improve overall signal accuracy. The part features dual single-pole/double-throw (SPDT) switch channels and supports break-before-make switching, which helps prevent momentary shorting between signal paths during channel transitions. It also delivers fast switching characteristics with typical timing around 50ns turn-on and 40ns turn-off, making it suitable for high-speed signal selection and routing tasks. With 1.8V logic-compatible digital inputs and very low leakage current, the MAX4684EUB+ can be integrated easily into battery-powered devices, communications equipment, audio switching circuits, and portable consumer electronics. Its low leakage behavior also supports accurate handling of sensitive analog signals.
