Description ​The IW1821-00 is a 12W AccuSwitch™ quasi-resonant pulse-width modulation (PWM) controller with an integrated 1200V bipolar junction transistor (BJT), designed for compact AC/DC flyback power supplies. Operating in quasi-resonant mode, it enhances efficiency and reduces electromagnetic interference (EMI). The device features a distinctive soft-start mechanism for smooth startup with various capacitive loads. Its digital control technology eliminates the need for secondary feedback circuits, achieving excellent line and load regulation. The IW1821-00 integrates multiple protection features, including overvoltage, overcurrent, and thermal protection, ensuring robust and reliable operation in industrial applications. ​
