| Description | The TBU-DT085-200-WH by Bourns is a compact, surface-mount dual unidirectional Transient Blocking Unit (TBU) designed for high-speed surge and overcurrent protection. Housed in a small DFN-4 package (5 × 5 mm), it activates in under 1 µs when the line current exceeds its trigger threshold, effectively blocking surges without shunting them to ground. This resettable device supports a peak impulse voltage (V_imp) of 850 V, maintains continuous RMS voltage up to 425 V, and triggers at 200 mA (nominal). It features a typical on-state resistance of 7.4 Ω and automatically resets once the voltage falls below its reset threshold (10–18 V). With an operating temperature range of –40 °C to +125 °C and UL listing (E315805), it’s well-suited for safeguarding Ethernet ports, protection modules, and general electronics in industrial and communication applications. |
