| Description | The RP2350A (SC1509-A4) is a high-performance 32-bit microcontroller from Raspberry Pi designed for advanced embedded and IoT applications. It operates at up to 150 MHz and features dual Arm Cortex-M33 cores with hardware floating-point and DSP support, along with optional dual RISC-V cores selectable via software.
The device integrates 520 KB of on-chip SRAM and 8 KB of one-time programmable (OTP) memory for secure key storage. It does not include internal flash memory, instead supporting external QSPI flash/PSRAM for execute-in-place (XIP) operation. It offers up to 30 GPIO pins (with 4 ADC-capable inputs), multiple communication interfaces including UART, SPI, I²C, USB, and a flexible programmable I/O (PIO) subsystem for custom hardware interfacing with minimal CPU overhead. The RP2350A includes advanced security features such as Arm TrustZone support, hardware SHA-256 accelerator, true random number generator (TRNG), and secure boot capabilities. It is widely used in industrial IoT, embedded computing, robotics, and secure applications requiring high performance, flexible I/O, and modern security architecture. |
