| Description | The AD736JRZ-R7 is a low-power, precision true RMS-to-DC converter designed to accurately convert AC signals into proportional DC output. It operates over a wide supply voltage range from +2.8V, −3.2V up to ±16.5V and consumes low supply current typically around 160–200 µA . The device supports a full-scale input range of approximately 200 mV RMS (expandable with external attenuators) and offers high input impedance up to 10¹² Ω with very low input bias current (~25 pA) . It provides high accuracy with error as low as ±0.3 mV ±0.3% of reading and maintains performance across various waveform types including distorted or non-sinusoidal signals . The converter features bandwidth exceeding 10 kHz for 1% error and supports crest factors up to 5. With an internal output buffer, low power consumption (~1 mW), and operating temperature range up to industrial grades, it is ideal for precision measurement, instrumentation, multimeters, and signal processing applications. |
