| Description | The ATA6560-GAQW-N is a high-speed CAN FD transceiver designed to interface a CAN protocol controller with a differential two-wire CAN bus, supporting data rates up to 5 Mbps. It operates over a supply voltage range of 4.5V to 5.5V and provides one driver and one receiver with differential signaling capability. The device features low electromagnetic emission (EME) and high electromagnetic immunity (EMI), along with high ESD robustness and transient protection on bus pins, making it suitable for harsh automotive environments. It offers multiple operating modes including normal, standby, and silent (receive-only) mode, with remote wake-up capability via the CAN bus. The transceiver includes fail-safe features such as undervoltage detection, thermal shutdown, short-circuit protection, and dominant timeout function. It provides receiver hysteresis of approximately 120 mV and supports wide common-mode voltage range for reliable communication. Operating temperature range extends from -40°C to +150°C (junction), and the SOIC-8 package ensures compact integration in automotive, industrial, and embedded CAN network applications. |
