Description The MAX2769ETI+T is a highly integrated universal GNSS receiver and RF front-end IC developed by Analog Devices (Maxim Integrated), designed for satellite navigation applications requiring high sensitivity, low power consumption, and compact implementation. It supports multiple satellite systems including GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo within a single-chip architecture.

The device utilizes a single-conversion low-IF receiver architecture and integrates the complete RF signal chain, including a dual-input low-noise amplifier (LNA), mixer, programmable gain amplifier (PGA), voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO), fractional-N synthesizer, crystal oscillator, and multibit ADC. This high level of integration significantly reduces external component count and simplifies system design.

The MAX2769ETI+T delivers excellent receiver sensitivity with a cascaded noise figure as low as approximately 1.4 dB, enabling reliable satellite signal reception even in weak-signal environments. It also eliminates the need for external IF SAW filters through the use of integrated monolithic filtering technology.

The device supports a wide range of reference clock frequencies and provides a programmable IF frequency using its integrated fractional-N synthesizer. It offers flexible digital outputs including 1-bit, 2-bit I/Q outputs or 3-bit I-channel output, allowing compatibility with various baseband processing architectures.

The MAX2769ETI+T operates from a supply voltage range of 2.7V to 3.3V and includes a low-power operating mode with supply current around 10 mA, making it suitable for portable and battery-powered navigation devices.

Packaged in a compact 28-pin Thin QFN surface-mount package (5mm × 5mm), the MAX2769ETI+T is optimized for space-constrained PCB layouts while maintaining strong RF performance and thermal efficiency.

The MAX2769ETI+T is widely used in portable navigation devices, telematics systems, asset tracking units, automotive navigation, UAVs, marine electronics, and embedded GNSS applications, where high-performance satellite signal reception is required.
