| Description | The FSL116HR is an integrated offline switching regulator IC that combines a fixed-frequency PWM controller and a high-voltage power MOSFET for AC-DC power conversion applications. It operates from a wide input voltage range up to 650V DC and supports output power levels typically up to 15–20W depending on design conditions. The device features a switching frequency of approximately 67 kHz and includes advanced control functions such as pulse-by-pulse current limiting, overvoltage protection, overload protection, and thermal shutdown for enhanced reliability. It utilizes green-mode operation to reduce standby power consumption below 100 mW, making it suitable for energy-efficient designs. The IC provides startup current below 100 µA and operating current around 2–5 mA, improving efficiency in low-power conditions. Operating temperature range is -40°C to +125°C, and the DIP-8 package allows easy implementation in power supply circuits. It is ideal for SMPS, chargers, adapters, and consumer power applications. |
