| Description | The DS1307ZN+T&R is a reliable real-time clock (RTC) and calendar IC developed by Analog Devices (Maxim Integrated), designed for accurate timekeeping in embedded and industrial applications. It provides full calendar functionality including seconds, minutes, hours, day, date, month, and year with automatic leap-year compensation. The device integrates 56 bytes of battery-backed non-volatile SRAM, allowing user data storage even during power loss, making it suitable for backup and low-power systems. The DS1307ZN+T&R communicates via a standard 2-wire I2C interface, enabling easy integration with microcontrollers and minimizing system complexity.
