| Description | The EC25EUXGR-128-SGNS is a compact, high-performance LTE Category 4 cellular communication module from Quectel, designed for industrial IoT, machine-to-machine (M2M), remote monitoring, transportation, security, and embedded networking applications. As a member of the proven EC25 Series, it delivers reliable global cellular connectivity together with integrated multi-constellation GNSS positioning in a compact LCC package. The module supports LTE Cat 4 with download speeds of up to 150 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 50 Mbps. It is fully backward compatible with DC-HSPA+, HSPA+, WCDMA, EDGE, and GSM/GPRS networks, ensuring dependable communication even in areas where LTE coverage is unavailable. The EC25-EUX variant is optimized for Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and other supported LTE regions. Integrated GNSS positioning supports GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, and QZSS, allowing accurate real-time positioning, navigation, and timing without requiring a separate positioning receiver. This integration reduces PCB space, lowers system cost, and simplifies product development for tracking and location-aware applications. The EC25EUXGR-128-SGNS provides multiple hardware interfaces including USB 2.0 High-Speed, UART, PCM audio, I²C, USIM, ADC, GPIO, and dual LTE antenna connections, enabling straightforward integration with embedded processors, ARM platforms, industrial controllers, Linux gateways, and custom microcontroller-based systems. Support for standard AT commands, TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, MQTT, SSL/TLS, PPP, SMS, voice, and FOTA allows rapid deployment in connected IoT products. Designed for industrial operation, the module operates from a 3.3V–4.3V supply (3.8V nominal) and supports an operating temperature range of -35°C to +75°C, with extended industrial versions supporting up to -40°C to +85°C. The compact 32 × 29 × 2.4 mm LCC package is optimized for automated SMT assembly and long-term field reliability. The EC25 Series is supported by comprehensive software drivers for Windows, Linux, and Android, making integration into industrial computers, routers, gateways, and embedded systems straightforward. It is compatible with multiple USB networking modes including NDIS, ECM, MBIM, and QMI depending on the target operating system and firmware configuration.
