Description ​The BQ25173DSGR is an integrated 800-mA linear charger designed for 1- to 4-cell supercapacitor applications. It operates with an input voltage range of 3.0 V to 18 V, accommodating various power sources. The device features a single power output for charging the supercapacitor, and the system load can be connected in parallel, allowing the charge current to be shared between the system and the supercapacitor. An internal control loop monitors the junction temperature and reduces the charge current if the internal temperature exceeds a certain threshold, enabling fast charging of a fully discharged supercapacitor. The BQ25173DSGR is suitable for space-limited applications such as portable medical equipment and dashboard cameras. ​
