| Description | The TPS54232DR is a step-down (buck) DC-DC converter from Texas Instruments, capable of delivering up to 2 A of continuous output current. It operates over an input voltage range of 3.5 V to 28 V and offers an adjustable output voltage from 0.8 V up to 25 V. The device features a fixed switching frequency of 1 MHz and incorporates Eco-Mode™ for improved efficiency at light loads. Protection mechanisms include cycle-by-cycle current limiting and thermal shutdown. The TPS54232DR is housed in an 8-pin SOIC package with PowerPAD™ for enhanced thermal performance. |
