| Description | The PAM8403DR-H is a high-efficiency Class-D stereo audio amplifier developed by Diodes Incorporated, designed for compact and low-power audio applications. It is capable of delivering up to 3W per channel into a 4Ω load at 5V supply, making it ideal for portable speaker systems and embedded audio devices. Operating from a single 2.5V to 5.5V supply, the PAM8403 offers excellent efficiency (up to 90%), minimizing power loss and heat generation. Its filterless architecture eliminates the need for external LC filters, reducing component count and simplifying PCB design. The device features low total harmonic distortion plus noise (THD+N), ensuring clear and high-quality audio output. It also includes built-in protection mechanisms such as thermal shutdown, overcurrent protection, and short-circuit protection for reliable operation.
