| Description | The DS1344D-33+T&R is a low-power real-time clock (RTC) and calendar IC developed by Analog Devices (Maxim Integrated), designed for accurate timekeeping in embedded and industrial applications. It maintains complete calendar information including seconds, minutes, hours, day, date, month, and year with automatic leap-year compensation. The device integrates 96 bytes of battery-backed non-volatile SRAM, allowing user data storage even during power loss, making it suitable for backup and low-power systems. The DS1344D-33+T&R supports both SPI and 3-wire serial interfaces, enabling flexible communication with microcontrollers, DSPs, and FPGA systems.
