| Description | The CY8C5888LTI-LP097 is a high-performance 32-bit ARM Cortex-M3 microcontroller from the Infineon Technologies PSoC 5LP family, originally developed by Cypress Semiconductor. It combines a powerful processor with configurable analog and digital peripherals, making it suitable for sophisticated embedded control, measurement, and communication applications. The device features an ARM Cortex-M3 processor operating at up to 80MHz, together with 256KB Flash program memory, 64KB SRAM, and 2KB EEPROM. Its programmable system-on-chip architecture enables developers to integrate multiple control and signal-processing functions into a single microcontroller. The CY8C5888LTI-LP097 incorporates advanced analog resources, including one 20-bit Delta-Sigma ADC, two 12-bit SAR ADCs, and four 8-bit DACs. Additional programmable analog and digital blocks provide flexibility for sensor conditioning, custom digital logic, timing, and mixed-signal applications. Integrated CapSense capacitive touch sensing technology enables touch buttons, sliders, and proximity-sensitive user interfaces. The microcontroller also supports LCD direct drive, PWM generation, DMA transfers, and programmable timers. For connectivity, the device provides USB, CAN, I2C, SPI, UART/USART, and LIN communication interfaces, making it suitable for industrial networks, embedded peripherals, and data acquisition systems. The 38 programmable GPIO pins offer flexible external signal interfacing. The CY8C5888LTI-LP097 operates from a 1.71V to 5.5V supply voltage and supports an industrial operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. It is supplied in a compact 68-pin QFN surface-mount package measuring 8 × 8mm with an exposed pad and lead-free, RoHS-compliant construction.
