| Description | The MPM3632CGQV-P is a synchronous step-down (buck) regulator module from Monolithic Power Systems (MPS). It integrates power MOSFETs, an inductor, and three capacitors, providing a compact solution that requires only input and output capacitors to achieve 3A of continuous output current with excellent load and line regulation. Operating over a wide input voltage range of 4V to 18V, it delivers an adjustable output voltage from 0.8V to 5.5V. The module features a fixed 3MHz switching frequency and employs constant-on-time (COT) control for a fast transient response. Additional features include output over-voltage protection (OVP), over-current protection (OCP), thermal shutdown, and a power good (PG) indicator. These characteristics make it suitable for applications such as server systems, medical equipment, distributed power systems, and point-of-load for FPGAs, ASICs, and DSPs. |
