| Description | The SN74HC245DWR is an octal bus transceiver designed for bidirectional data communication between data buses, featuring 3-state outputs for bus isolation. It operates over a supply voltage range of 2.0V to 6.0V and supports high-speed CMOS logic with low power consumption, typically less than 80 µA static current. The device provides typical propagation delay of approximately 13–20 ns at 5V and supports output drive currents up to ±6 mA. Direction control (DIR) allows data flow selection between buses, while output enable (OE) enables high-impedance state for bus sharing. It features low input leakage current (<1 µA), high noise immunity, and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. The SOIC-20 package is suitable for data bus interfacing, memory systems, and digital communication applications. |
