| Description | The EC25EUXGR-MINIPCIE is a high-performance LTE Category 4 Mini PCIe cellular communication module from Quectel, designed for industrial IoT, machine-to-machine (M2M), networking equipment, remote monitoring, transportation, and embedded communication applications. Utilizing the industry-standard Mini PCI Express form factor, the module can be integrated directly into routers, industrial computers, gateways, kiosks, and embedded systems with minimal hardware design effort. The module supports LTE Cat 4 wireless communication with download speeds of up to 150 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 50 Mbps. It also provides seamless fallback to DC-HSPA+, HSPA+, WCDMA, EDGE, and GSM/GPRS networks, ensuring reliable connectivity even in areas where LTE service is unavailable. The EC25-EUX regional version is optimized for operation across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and other supported LTE networks. The EC25EUXGR-MINIPCIE offers comprehensive connectivity through USB 2.0 High-Speed, UART, I²C, PCM digital audio, SIM card interface, WWAN status indicators, hardware reset, and RF disable control. It supports standard TCP/IP networking as well as PPP, FTP, HTTP, HTTPS, SSL/TLS, MQTT, SMS, voice, DFOTA firmware updates, and Quectel software services for efficient cloud connectivity. Operating from a 3.0V to 3.6V supply voltage (3.3V typical), the module is optimized for low power consumption while maintaining reliable operation in demanding environments. Typical sleep current is significantly reduced in the EUX version, making it well suited for energy-efficient industrial and IoT equipment. The industrial operating temperature range extends from -35°C to +75°C, with an extended option supporting -40°C to +80°C. The module is supplied on a full-size Mini PCIe card measuring 30.0 × 51.0 × 4.9 mm, enabling simple installation into standard Mini PCIe sockets. It is compatible with Windows 8/10/11, Linux (2.6–6.x), and Android, and supports multiple USB networking modes including NDIS, MBIM, QMI, GobiNet, and QMI_WWAN drivers for rapid software integration. The EC25EUXGR-MINIPCIE is widely used in industrial IoT gateways, LTE routers, industrial PCs, remote monitoring systems, smart metering, digital signage, transportation equipment, security systems, POS terminals, agricultural automation, smart city infrastructure, vending machines, edge computing platforms, telemetry devices, and machine-to-machine (M2M) communication applications requiring reliable high-speed LTE connectivity in a standard Mini PCIe format. |
