| Description | The DHT11 is a low-cost digital temperature and humidity sensor that integrates a calibrated humidity sensing element and an NTC temperature sensor with a built-in 8-bit microcontroller. It operates with a supply voltage of 3.3 V to 5 V and communicates through a single-wire digital interface. The sensor provides humidity measurements in the range of 20% to 80% RH with ±5% accuracy and temperature measurements from 0°C to 50°C with ±2°C accuracy. It has a sampling rate of about 1 Hz and delivers digital output data with no need for additional signal conditioning. The DHT11 is commonly used in HVAC systems, weather stations, home automation, and embedded projects requiring basic environmental sensing. |
