| Description | The R307S is a compact and high-performance optical fingerprint sensor module designed for biometric authentication and identification applications. It integrates an optical sensor, DSP processor, and fingerprint recognition algorithm into a single module, enabling fast and accurate fingerprint capture, processing, and matching. The module operates within a supply voltage range of approximately 4.2V to 6.0V and typically consumes around 50–75 mA, making it suitable for embedded and portable systems. It supports both UART (TTL) and optional USB interfaces, allowing easy integration with microcontrollers such as Arduino, ESP32, STM32, and Raspberry Pi. The R307S features a 500 DPI optical resolution and high-speed performance, with fingerprint scanning times under 0.3 seconds and verification speeds around 0.2 seconds, ensuring quick and reliable user authentication. It supports both 1:1 verification and 1:N identification modes, with onboard flash memory capable of storing up to 1000 fingerprint templates. The module includes an integrated LED indicator and advanced image processing capabilities, allowing accurate detection even under varying environmental conditions. It also offers configurable security levels and very low false acceptance and rejection rates, making it suitable for secure systems. With its all-in-one design, ease of integration, and reliable performance, the R307S is widely used in applications such as access control systems, attendance machines, smart locks, safes, IoT security devices, and embedded biometric authentication systems, where secure and fast identity verification is required. |
