| Description | The BMP280 is a high-precision barometric pressure and temperature sensor designed for environmental sensing applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 1.71 V to 3.6 V and supports both I²C and SPI communication interfaces. The sensor provides pressure measurement range from 300 hPa to 1100 hPa with high accuracy (±1 hPa) and temperature measurement with typical accuracy of ±1°C. It features low power consumption (as low as 2.7 µA in normal mode) and includes built-in calibration and compensation algorithms for accurate readings. The BMP280 is widely used in weather monitoring, altitude measurement, GPS enhancement, indoor navigation, drones, and IoT applications requiring precise pressure and temperature sensing. |
