| Description | The BUF634F/500 is a high-performance unity-gain buffer amplifier developed by Texas Instruments, designed to provide high output current drive capability while maintaining wide bandwidth and fast signal response. It is commonly used to boost the output current of operational amplifiers and improve load-driving performance. The device supports a continuous output current of up to ±250mA, making it suitable for driving low-impedance loads such as cables, headphones, or power stages. It features an extremely fast slew rate of approximately 2000 V/µs and a bandwidth adjustable from 30MHz up to 180MHz, enabling high-speed analog signal buffering. The BUF634F/500 operates over a wide supply voltage range of 4.5V to 36V, supporting both single and dual supply configurations. It also maintains low quiescent current, allowing efficient operation in both high-performance and low-power applications. Designed with a unity-gain stable open-loop architecture, the buffer can be placed inside the feedback loop of an op-amp to significantly increase output drive capability and improve stability when driving capacitive loads.
