Description The LM2676S-ADJ/NOPB is a highly efficient step-down (buck) switching regulator developed by Texas Instruments, designed for high-current power conversion applications. It is part of the SIMPLE SWITCHER® family and integrates all necessary control and power components in a single device.

This regulator supports a wide input voltage range of 8V to 40V and delivers up to 3A continuous output current, making it suitable for industrial, automotive, and embedded power systems. It provides an adjustable output voltage from approximately 1.2V up to 37V, offering flexibility for various voltage regulation requirements.

The LM2676S-ADJ/NOPB operates at a fixed switching frequency of 260 kHz, allowing the use of smaller external components while maintaining stable and efficient operation. It utilizes an internal low RDS(on) DMOS power switch, achieving high efficiency typically exceeding 90%.

Designed for simplicity, the device requires a minimal number of external components, enabling fast and straightforward power supply design. It also features excellent line and load regulation with ±2% output accuracy.

For reliability, the regulator includes built-in thermal shutdown, current limiting, and ON/OFF control, which reduces standby current to approximately 50µA when disabled.

Encased in a robust TO-263 (D2PAK-7) surface-mount package, the LM2676S-ADJ/NOPB is optimized for efficient heat dissipation and high-current PCB designs.

The LM2676S-ADJ/NOPB is widely used in industrial power supplies, telecom equipment, embedded systems, motor drives, and distributed power architectures, where efficient and high-current step-down voltage conversion is required.
