| Description | The LM2576T-5.0/NOPB is a high-efficiency 3 A step-down (buck) switching voltage regulator from Texas Instruments’ SIMPLE SWITCHER® family. It is designed to convert higher input voltages into a stable fixed 5 V output while requiring only a small number of external components. The device supports an input voltage range of approximately 4 V to 40 V and can deliver up to 3 A output current with good line and load regulation. It operates with a fixed switching frequency of about 52 kHz and includes an internal oscillator, frequency compensation, and power switch, simplifying power supply design. The regulator integrates protection features such as current limiting, thermal shutdown, and TTL shutdown control for improved system reliability and low standby current.
