| Description | The NRF24L01P-R7 is a highly integrated single-chip 2.4 GHz RF transceiver from Nordic Semiconductor designed for ultra-low-power wireless communication applications. It operates in the worldwide 2.4–2.525 GHz ISM band and supports on-air data rates of 250 kbps, 1 Mbps, and 2 Mbps using GFSK modulation. The device operates from a supply voltage of 1.9–3.6 V and communicates with the host microcontroller via a high-speed SPI interface. It integrates Nordic’s Enhanced ShockBurst™ protocol engine, which automatically handles packet formatting, addressing, acknowledgements, and retransmissions to reduce MCU workload. The transceiver includes multiple data pipes for star-network topologies, programmable RF output power up to 0 dBm, and receiver sensitivity down to approximately −94 dBm depending on data rate. Additional features include low standby current, fast startup times, internal voltage regulator, integrated frequency synthesizer, and compact 20-pin QFN package, making it suitable for wireless sensors, remote controls, gaming peripherals, industrial monitoring, and IoT communication systems. |
