| Description | The NRF24L01P-T is a highly integrated 2.4 GHz RF transceiver from Nordic Semiconductor designed for ultra-low-power wireless communication systems. It operates in the global 2.4–2.525 GHz ISM band and supports selectable data rates of 250 kbps, 1 Mbps, and 2 Mbps using GFSK modulation. The device operates from a supply voltage range of 1.9–3.6 V and interfaces with a host microcontroller through a high-speed SPI interface. The transceiver integrates Nordic’s Enhanced ShockBurst™ protocol engine which automatically manages packet formatting, addressing, acknowledgements, and retransmissions, significantly reducing MCU overhead. It supports multiple receive data pipes for star network topologies and offers programmable RF output power levels up to approximately 0 dBm with receiver sensitivity down to around −94 dBm depending on the data rate. Additional features include low standby current, fast switching between transmit and receive modes, integrated frequency synthesizer, internal voltage regulator, and compact QFN packaging, making it suitable for wireless sensors, remote controls, gaming peripherals, and IoT communication devices. |
