| Description | The ADS1251U is a high-resolution 24-bit delta-sigma analog-to-digital converter designed for precision measurement applications. It operates with a supply voltage of 5V and supports a differential analog input range of ±2.5V, delivering low noise and high accuracy performance. The device provides a programmable output data rate up to 20 kSPS with excellent linearity and low total harmonic distortion. It features low input-referred noise (typically <1 µV RMS), high signal-to-noise ratio (>100 dB), and integral nonlinearity of ±0.0015% typical. The ADC uses a simple serial interface for data output and requires minimal external components. Operating temperature range is -40°C to +85°C, and the SOIC-8 package enables compact integration in industrial instrumentation, weigh scales, and sensor signal acquisition systems. |
