| Description | The EG25GGB-MINIPCIE is a high-performance LTE Category 4 Mini PCIe cellular communication module from Quectel, designed for industrial IoT, wireless networking, transportation, remote monitoring, and embedded communication systems. Based on the industry-standard Mini PCI Express (Mini PCIe) form factor, it enables rapid integration into routers, gateways, industrial PCs, kiosks, and embedded computing platforms while delivering reliable global cellular connectivity. The module supports LTE Cat 4 data rates of up to 150 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload. It also provides backward compatibility with DC-HSDPA, HSPA+, WCDMA, EDGE, and GSM/GPRS networks, allowing seamless operation across regions with varying cellular infrastructure. Global frequency band support makes the module suitable for worldwide deployments. Integrated multi-constellation GNSS functionality supports GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, and QZSS, providing accurate positioning, navigation, and timing capabilities for fleet management, asset tracking, navigation terminals, and location-based IoT applications. The EG25GGB-MINIPCIE communicates through a USB 2.0 High-Speed interface while exposing additional interfaces including UART, I²C, PCM digital audio, SIM card interface, status LEDs, reset, RF disable, and multiple antenna connections for LTE diversity and GNSS. Support for TCP/IP networking, PPP, FTP, HTTP, HTTPS, MQTT, SSL/TLS, NTP, SMTP, and additional networking protocols simplifies integration into cloud-connected embedded systems. Operating from a 3.0V to 3.6V supply (3.3V typical), the module is optimized for low-power operation while maintaining industrial-grade reliability. It supports an operating temperature range of -35°C to +75°C with an extended temperature option reaching -40°C to +80°C, making it suitable for demanding industrial environments. The full-size Mini PCIe form factor measures approximately 51.0 mm × 30.0 mm × 4.9 mm, allowing direct installation into standard Mini PCIe sockets commonly found in industrial computers, networking equipment, and embedded platforms. The module supports Linux, Android, and Windows operating systems and is compatible with a wide range of embedded processors and industrial controllers.
