| Description | The AD7606BSTZ-RL is a high-performance 16-bit simultaneous sampling analog-to-digital converter (ADC) developed by Analog Devices, designed for precision multi-channel data acquisition systems. It integrates 8 simultaneously sampled analog input channels, enabling accurate synchronized measurement of multiple signals in industrial and instrumentation applications. The device utilizes a SAR (Successive Approximation Register) ADC architecture and supports throughput rates up to approximately 200 kSPS per channel, providing fast and deterministic signal conversion for real-time systems. It includes integrated analog front-end circuitry, simplifying external signal conditioning requirements. The AD7606BSTZ-RL supports true bipolar analog input ranges of ±10V and ±5V with an integrated analog clamp protection circuit capable of tolerating input voltages up to approximately ±16.5V, improving robustness in harsh industrial environments. This ADC incorporates integrated second-order anti-aliasing filters, track-and-hold amplifiers, precision reference, and oversampling digital filters, significantly reducing external component count while improving signal integrity and noise performance.
