| Description | The ATmega32A-AU is a high-performance, low-power 8-bit AVR microcontroller based on the enhanced RISC architecture. It operates with a supply voltage range of 2.7–5.5 V and supports clock frequencies up to 16 MHz. The device delivers efficient processing performance with most instructions executing in a single clock cycle. It integrates 32 KB of in-system programmable Flash memory, 2 KB SRAM, and 1 KB EEPROM for non-volatile data storage. The microcontroller provides 32 programmable digital I/O lines and includes a rich peripheral set such as an 8-channel 10-bit ADC, three timer/counters, PWM outputs, an analog comparator, and external/internal interrupt support. Communication interfaces include SPI, I²C (TWI), and USART for flexible connectivity in embedded applications. Additional features include programmable watchdog timer, brown-out detection, internal oscillator options, and multiple power-saving sleep modes that enable reliable and energy-efficient operation in industrial and consumer electronics designs. |
