| Description | The 2EDN8524FXTMA1 is a dual-channel low-side gate driver IC from the EiceDRIVER™ family, designed to drive N-channel MOSFETs, IGBTs, and GaN devices with high efficiency and fast switching performance. It operates over a supply voltage range of 4.5V to 20V and provides high peak output current capability of ±5A (source/sink), enabling rapid charging and discharging of gate capacitance . The device features non-inverting inputs, independent driver channels, and typical propagation delay of approximately 19 ns with fast rise and fall times of about 5.3 ns and 4.5 ns respectively . It supports logic input thresholds compatible with CMOS and LVTTL levels and includes protection features such as undervoltage lockout and robust latch-up immunity . The IC operates over a wide temperature range from -40°C to +150°C and is optimized for high-frequency switching applications such as DC-DC converters, synchronous rectification, motor control, and industrial power supplies |
