| Description | The RM520NGLAA-M20-SGASA is a high-performance 5G NR Sub-6 GHz cellular communication module from Quectel, developed for next-generation industrial IoT, edge computing, enterprise networking, fixed wireless access (FWA), transportation, robotics, and high-speed machine-to-machine (M2M) applications. Built on the industry-standard M.2 3052 (Key B) form factor, it enables easy integration into routers, industrial PCs, embedded computers, and networking equipment while providing ultra-fast 5G connectivity. The module supports both 5G Standalone (SA) and Non-Standalone (NSA) network architectures, delivering peak download speeds of up to 2.4 Gbps and upload speeds of up to 900 Mbps. It also provides backward compatibility with LTE, WCDMA, and other legacy cellular networks, ensuring uninterrupted communication where 5G coverage is unavailable. Integrated multi-constellation GNSS supports GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, and QZSS, enabling accurate positioning, navigation, and timing for fleet management, autonomous systems, asset tracking, and industrial automation without requiring an external positioning receiver. The RM520NGLAA-M20-SGASA provides a comprehensive range of hardware interfaces including USB 3.1, PCIe, UART, SPI, I²C, PCM/I²S audio, ADC, GPIO, SD card interface, and multiple RF antenna connections. These interfaces allow seamless integration with ARM processors, x86 industrial computers, embedded Linux platforms, networking appliances, and custom hardware designs. Operating from a 3.135V to 4.4V supply voltage, the module is optimized for high-speed data communication while maintaining excellent RF performance and industrial reliability. The compact 52 × 30 × 2.3 mm M.2 package simplifies system design and enables rapid deployment in high-performance embedded platforms. The module supports a broad software ecosystem including Linux, Windows, Android, USB networking modes, AT commands, TCP/IP protocol stack, MQTT, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SSL/TLS, and firmware-over-the-air (FOTA) updates. These capabilities reduce development time and simplify cloud integration for industrial and commercial applications.
