| Description | The TPS63000DRCR is a highly efficient buck-boost DC-DC converter developed by Texas Instruments, designed to provide a stable output voltage regardless of whether the input voltage is above or below the desired output level. The TPS63000DRCR supports switching currents up to approximately 1.6A to 1.8A, allowing it to drive moderate loads with high efficiency, often reaching above 90% efficiency depending on operating conditions. It uses a single inductor architecture and operates at a switching frequency of around 1.25MHz to 1.5MHz, reducing the size of external components and enabling compact PCB layouts. The regulator includes advanced features such as power save mode for light loads, soft-start, overtemperature protection, and undervoltage lockout, ensuring stable and reliable operation in various conditions. Designed for portable and energy-efficient systems, it has a low quiescent current and supports seamless transition between buck and boost modes without output disruption.
