| Description | The SI24R1-ZTX is a low-power 2.4 GHz ISM band RF transceiver designed for short-range wireless communication and is fully compatible with NRF24L01-type protocols. It operates in the 2400–2525 MHz frequency range using GFSK/FSK modulation and supports selectable data rates of 250 kbps, 1 Mbps, and 2 Mbps. The device operates with a supply voltage of 1.9 V to 3.6 V and features programmable transmit power up to approximately +7 dBm, with receiver sensitivity around -83 dBm. Typical current consumption is <15 mA in RX mode and <12 mA in TX mode (0 dBm), with ultra-low standby (<15 µA) and shutdown current (<1 µA), making it ideal for battery-powered applications.
Mechanically, the device is available in a compact QFN-20 package (approx. 4 × 4 mm) or as integrated modules (~12 × 19 mm) with onboard crystal and RF matching network. It uses a 4-wire SPI interface (up to 10 MHz) and includes integrated FIFO buffers, ARQ protocol engine, and interrupt output for efficient MCU communication. It is widely used in wireless sensors, remote controls, smart home devices, IoT nodes, and low-power RF communication systems. |
