| Description | The TMP119AIYBGR is an ultra-precise digital temperature sensor developed by Texas Instruments, engineered for applications requiring exceptional measurement accuracy and stability. It delivers a high-resolution 16-bit temperature output with a fine resolution of approximately 0.0078°C per LSB, enabling highly accurate thermal monitoring in sensitive systems. This device provides industry-leading accuracy of up to ±0.03°C (typical) and ±0.08°C (maximum) in the 0°C to 45°C range, making it suitable for medical-grade and precision instrumentation applications. It maintains excellent accuracy across a wide operating range from -55°C to +150°C. The TMP119AIYBGR operates with a flexible supply voltage range of 1.7V to 5.5V and communicates through a standard I2C and SMBus-compatible interface, allowing seamless integration with microcontrollers and digital systems. It also supports multiple devices on a single bus for scalable designs. Designed for ultra-low power operation, the sensor consumes approximately 3.5µA during measurement (1Hz conversion) and as low as 150nA in shutdown mode, making it ideal for battery-powered and energy-efficient applications. The device includes advanced features such as programmable alert limits, selectable averaging, digital offset correction, and integrated EEPROM (48-bit), providing flexibility and system-level calibration capability.
