| Description | The 74HC259D,653 is a high-speed CMOS 8-bit addressable latch designed to store data in one of eight latches selected by a 3-bit address input. It operates over a supply voltage range of 2.0V to 6.0V and features low power consumption with typical static current in the microampere range. The device allows individual bit control using data input (D), address inputs (A0–A2), and enable/clear control signals, providing flexible set/reset operations. It supports output drive currents up to ±6 mA and offers typical propagation delay of approximately 15–25 ns at 5V. With low input leakage current (<1 µA), high noise immunity, and an operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C, the SOIC-16 package makes it suitable for digital control, memory addressing, and I/O expansion applications. |
