| Description | The A4988SETTR-T is a complete microstepping stepper motor driver with built-in translator, designed for easy control of bipolar stepper motors. It operates with a motor supply voltage range of 8 V to 35 V and logic supply from 3 V to 5.5 V. The device supports full-step, half-step, quarter-step, eighth-step, and sixteenth-step microstepping modes, enabling smooth and precise motor control. It includes internal current regulation with adjustable current limiting via an external sense resistor, ensuring safe operation of the motor. The A4988 integrates protection features such as overcurrent protection, thermal shutdown, undervoltage lockout, and short-to-ground protection.
