Description The BQ294504DRVR is an overvoltage protection IC from Texas Instruments, designed for secondary protection in 2- and 3-series Li-Ion battery packs. It independently monitors each cell for overvoltage conditions, triggering a high output after a fixed delay if any cell exceeds the overvoltage threshold. The overvoltage protection threshold is adjustable between 3.85 V and 4.6 V, with fixed delay options of 4 seconds or 6.5 seconds, and offers high-accuracy protection with a tolerance of ±10 mV. The device operates with low supply current, approximately 1 µA when all cell voltages are below the protection threshold, and minimal leakage current per cell input, less than 100 nA. Housed in a compact 6-pin WSON package (2 mm × 2 mm), the BQ294504DRVR is suitable for applications requiring secondary overvoltage protection in Li-Ion battery packs. ​
